Post & Beam style allows flexibility of floorplans and provides primary structural support. In contemporary Post & Beam construction, the posts and beams carry the load of the
building and transfer its weight evenly to the ground. They also allow for open floor plans, with freedom to move interior walls where you see fit.
This style of construction allows for a multitude of design options, and spacious and open main rooms flooded with the warmth of natural light. In this case the rafters are laid
across the beams and are not exposed. The ceiling is then generally finished with wood liner or drywall.
