How much does one of your homes cost?
Costs are dependent on the location, size, design, material choices and complexity of construction. Linwood will work with you to develop a home design that fits within your budget. The
package price varies from $35 to $175 per square foot.

SITE SPECIFIC DESIGN
Why is site specific design important?
Site specific design considers all the complex variables involved in each property, so that the home can be built effectively and efficiently, while minimizing costly mistakes.
Is there a wide selection of designs to choose from?
Linwood offers over 300 existing designs in various collections or we can create a unique full custom design especially for you, at no additional cost.
Can I customize your existing designs to suit my needs?
Yes, you can make design changes as long as the result is structurally sound and meets local permitting and building code requirements.
MATERIALS & CHOICES
Can I get the same materials at a better price elsewhere?
No – the range of premium quality materials we supply is not available at building supply outlets. Linwood products are manufactured to meet our high specifications for performance and
appearance.
Will the price go up if I can’t build right away?
No - Linwood offers meaningful price protection that is not available from competitors. A realistic time period is allowed from the date when the contract is signed until delivery so that
customers can rely on their budgeted costs.
What types of homes do you offer?
We offer post & beam, timber-frame, log, conventional and hybrid homes in a variety of material specifications.
What do you supply?
In addition to site specific design and detailed blueprints, Linwood supplies all the materials required to build the home to lock-up. We can also offer you practical construction options,
access to technical expertise and a proven system to control your project. Project can consist from start to weather-tight (lock-up) or continue through to turn-key, ready-to-move-in
stage.
Why is selecting the right combination of materials important?
By selecting the right combination of premium quality materials you will get a better finished result with fewer problems during construction and lower labor costs, plus higher resale values.
Do I have protection through meaningful warranties?
Yes - Linwood has its own outstanding warranty program and only deals with reputable suppliers who stand behind their products.
Are you efficient in shipping materials to my site?
All the materials required to get your home to the lock up stage are shipped together. This gives you the most efficient and cost effective result due to lower shipping costs and the fact
that materials are available when needed by the builder.
Will you build my home?
Using qualified builders is critical. We can offer you the choice of working directly with you or your contractor, introducing you to builders in our network or using our affiliated construction
company.
What is a qualified builder?
A qualified builder must be properly insured and licensed and have the financial, technical and physical resources to construct the home. They must also have the ability to meet the
terms of their contractual obligations.
Will you provide technical help during construction?
Yes – buying from Linwood gives you full access to our technical staff. This includes engineers, designers, production personnel and a variety of other experts. During construction, if
any questions or problems arise, assistance is available from Linwood experts at an 800 number listed on your materials list. After hours and weekends, even home phone numbers are
available.

How does your system help me get a better result?
Our proprietary Custom Builder XPM system allows you to maintain control over your project by helping you select the right combination of materials, generate a realistic budget, make
informed decisions and monitor progress during construction.
How long does it take to build my home?
If you are in a hurry to build Linwood is your best alternative. It usually takes about 6 months to build a simple home and a year or more to build a complex custom home. That includes
designing your plan, going through the building department, and the engineering and home owner's association if required before actual building starts. Linwood can help you expedite
the building time frame by providing you with fast turn around in blueprints so that you can obtain building permits as soon as possible. Materials are ordered when your design is
finalized for production in order to be ready when needed. Also better materials mean more efficient construction.
